In the course of the realisation of THE ORACLE OF BERLIN the Sungate of Niki de Saint Phalle is scheduled.
It will welcome the visitor as the new south gate of Berlin (Hallesches Tor) on the way to the installation.
Measuring twelve metres in height and nine metres in width the Sungate is supposed to match the proportions of the outer ring of buildings on the square and thus form a gate to THE ORACLE OF BERLIN and to the Friedrichstrasse.
The stainless steel sculpture was created by the Franco-American artist Niki de Saint Phalle for THE ORACLE OF BERLIN. The Sungate would probably be the last legacy of the artist who died in 2002.
